The Worker Justice Center of New York was created in 2011 through the merger of Farmworker Legal Service of NY (est. 1981) and the Workers’ Rights Law Center (est. 2003). After more than a decade of growth, the company decided it was time to update the current identity and logo design while keeping the long-standing history and passion each team member has for the organization.
The current brand identity was out of date and was not conducive to scaling. It was very complicated and did not tell their story clearly or effectively. We removed several extra lines of text, identified what graphic and typographic elements to remove and keep for a well-thought-out strategy before the redesign.
